Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel acquired the company in June, and vowed that steelmaking would continue in Pennsylvania's Mon Valley. 

The three acquired companies have operated since 2004 and served customers across two of the country’s most competitive logistics hubs. All will operate under Lazer's umbrella.
