The demand for professional truck drivers continued to show signs of activity this year despite an overall slowdown in the freight market.

With demand remaining high, qualified drivers always have the opportunity to seek greener pastures — some fleets report annual turnover rates as high as 90%. The number of truck drivers looking to jump to a different carrier has been decreasing since last year, but that hasn’t stopped recruiters from pursuing them, according to a recent survey.
