Despite strong summer fuel demand, pump prices at truck stops continue to spiral downward. And the trend may not reverse any time soon.

The nine-week downward spiral in diesel prices hit bottom last week, as the national average inched up 0.9 cent to $1.009 a gallon, according to the Department of Energy.
