Cummins Unveils Two Engines

The ISX engine has horsepower ratings from 400 to 500, with peak torque from 1,450 to 1,850 footpounds. It has a dual overhead cam, with one camshaft driving the fuel injection system while the other drives the valves and an integrated barking system, called Intebrake. Electronic controls record trip and performance information and allow technicians to diagnose engine problems.
