Safety isn't sexy. When it comes to safe driving for the nation's truckers, though, at least there's the National Truck Driving Championships, where safety is prerequisite No. 1 in order to demonstrate your skills. INDIANAPOLIS — Charles "Mike" White, a Wal-Mart Transportation professional driver from nearby Nineveh, Indiana, was named Bendix Grand Champion of the 2016 National Truck Driving Championships and National Step Van Driving Championships on Aug. 13.
