ATLANTA – Natural-gas vehicle leaders meeting here Nov. 19 said that after making strides in fueling the “return-to-base” trucking market, they would next need to turn their attention to the over-the-road heavy-duty trucking segment.

The out-of-service rate for brake-related violations dropped to 13.5%  from 15.3% last year, the lowest rate of OOS brake violations in more than 15 years, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance announced last week.
