Canadian bulk trucking company Trimac TransportationÌýsaid it will acquire Ontario-based specialized bulk carrier Liquid Cargo Lines. Terms were not disclosed.
LCL, Mississauga, Ontario, provides specialized bulk deliveries in eastern Canada and the United States with a focus on chemicals and asphalt.
LCL’s assets include a 13-acre property, 50 trailers, 23 company-owned power units and 15 owner-operators.
Trimac, rankedÌýNo. 41 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers,Ìýsaid it expects the acquisition to close in the third quarter.
