IdleAire to Electrify Spaces at All 126 TravelCenters

dleAire announced it would install its truck stop electrification technology at all 126 TravelCenters of America locations over the next three years, with a price tag of more than $1 million per site.

IdleAire said it would completely fund the installation and would be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment once installed.

David Everhart, IdleAire chief operating officer, said TA and IdleAire would share the revenue produced by the installations.

Everhart told Transport Topics that TA evaluated the technology for three years before deciding to move forward with the project.
