Convoy Launches Grab-and-Go Option for Small Carriers
Digital freight broker Convoy announced a program for small carriers and owner-operators that enables them to use their power equipment to pick up Convoy’s pre-positioned, loaded trailers from shippers in select areas.

Its power-only and universal trailer pool program is scheduled to roll out nationally in the near future, according to the Seattle-based company.
Typically in such a grab-and-go system, shippers use larger trucking companies that have a surplus of trailers available. As a result, these shipments are not available to the nearly 90% of U.S. trucks that are owned by small trucking companies that do not have extra trailers.Ìý
