Carrier Logistics Inc., a provider of freight management software for less-than-truckload carriers, recently launched a software tool that uses artificial intelligence to extract shipment data from bills of lading.

This AI BOL Extraction module automatically populates bill of lading information in Carrier Logistics’ FACTS freight management system to reduce manual data entry and save time.

This faster, more accurate shipment creation process enables LTL operators to realize cost savings and gain a competitive advantage, the technology vendor said.

In addition, the precision of AI-driven extraction reduces errors and discrepancies.

By extracting data in real time, we help carriers act faster and more confidently.”

Carrier Logistics’ FACTS system, designed specifically for asset-based LTL carriers and last-mile transportation providers, includes optimization tools, dispatch and routing engines, and cross-dock management.
