Brandt Group Acquires Camex
The Brandt Group of Cos. has announced it is expanding into the specialty transportation equipment industry with the acquisition of Camex Equipment Sales & Rentals, an Edmonton, Alberta-based firm.
鈥淭his is an exciting acquisition for us as Camex is a world-class company with the largest inventory of industry-specific transportation equipment in the business,鈥 Brandt CEO Shaun Semple said in a Nov. 1 press release.
The acquisition will result in a new division called Brandt Truck Rigging & Trailers. It will supply premium-quality specialty transportation solutions for the industry.
Brandt gained three buildings in the deal, totaling 150,000 square feet situated on a 26-acre property.
Financial terms were not disclosed.听
