A U.S. government and Texas partnership has resulted in more than 1,000 truckers losing their CDLs permanently for smuggling people and drugs across the U.S. border with Mexico.

Federal trucking regulators have issued a public notice reopening a lingering 2023 proposal seeking additional comments on how to improve the DataQs process.
