U.S. Class 8 retail sales in October improved 34.5% compared with a year earlier, Wards Intelligence reported as all but one truck maker notched higher sales.

U.S. Class 8 retail sales in September were nearly 23,000 and reached the second-highest total this year, Wards Intelligence reported.

Class 8 U.S. retail sales in August reached their high point for the year, clearing 23,000 for a 29.7% increase compared with a year earlier, Wards Intelligence reported.

Class 8 U.S. retail sales in July rose 21.9% higher compared with a year earlier but stalled when measured against the past four months, Wards Intelligence reported. All truck makers but one reported gains.
