INDIANAPOLIS — The nation’s top trucking regulator praised the skill and commitment to safety exhibited by competitors at the 87th annual National Truck Driving Championships.

INDIANAPOLIS — Robert Foskey will become chairman for next year’s National Truck Driving Championships. He plans to continue promoting the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie.

Hundreds of women and men were tested on precision-driving skills as well as on their capacity to run commercial vehicles during the first day of competition at NTDC 2024 in Indianapolis.

Nerves, excitement, professionalism were evident among the more than 400 elite truck drivers — including three first-timers — on Day 1 of NTDC 2024 in Indianapolis.

UPS driver Connor Christensen from Illinois learned step van skills by observing father Ceth in four contests at NTDC. It will be Connor’s turn to take the spotlight this week in Indianapolis.
