Xos Inc., a Los Angeles-based manufacturer of fully electric Classes 5-8 commercial vehicles, announced it signed an agreement to deliver three Xos electric step vans to UniFirst Corp. in a test program with potential for additional vehicle purchases for use across the United States.
“Partnering with UniFirst is an important step forward in our long-term growth plans to expand electric delivery trucks into novel market segments while supporting fleet operators in a diverse set of industries across the country,” said Giordano Sordoni, Xos’ co-founder and chief operating officer.
Wilmington, Mass.-based UniFirst manufactures its own branded workwear, protective clothing and floor care products.
