Wright Express Corp.’s third-quarter profit fell to $20.6 million, or 53 cents per share, compared with $23.4 million, or 60 cents, a year ago.
Operating income fell slightly to $36.2 million, from $36.3 million, the company said in a statement.
Revenue rose 16.8% to $100.2 million, from $85.8 million a year ago. Revenue from payment processing increased to $70.1 million, from $59.1 million.
Wright Express provides payment processing and information management services to fleets and its charge cards are used by to buy fuel and maintenance services for about 4.6 million vehicles.
