Panther Expedited Services said it appointed R. Louis Schneeberger as the company’s new CEO, replacing former CEO Andrew Clarke, whoÌýresigned.

Clarke had been CEO since 2007. Schneeberger joined Panther in 2010 as the carrier’s chief financial officer.

The company also named Edward Wadel as its chief operating officer. He wasÌýPanther’s chief information officer.

Panther, Seville, Ohio, was acquired last year by Arkansas Best Corp. which is ranked No. 13 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
