OIA Global, a supply chain management company, has acquired Kentucky-based U.S. Worldwide Logistics. Terms were not disclosed.
OIA said the acquisition builds its client base in the Cincinnati鈥揘orthern Kentucky metropolitan area and 鈥渋s an important step in our overall growth strategy.鈥
鈥淲e will continue to look for these types of acquisitions in the future provided they are strategic to our business, help grow our brand, expand our global network,鈥 said OIA Global CEO, Charlie Hornecker.
OIA is a subsidiary of LDI Ltd., a holding company based in Indianapolis, originally founded in 1912 to manufacture corrugated boxes. LDI听has interests in distribution, manufacturing and logistics businesses.
