Fleet-safety technology company Nauto on Nov. 6 unveiled its first and only in-vehicle, artificial intelligence-powered Driver Behavior Learning Platform, according to a news release.
Company officials said the platform is able to actively predict, prevent and decrease high-risk driving events.
Nauto said its AI system continuously analyzes sensor data from driver behaviors, exterior hazards and vehicle movement in real time. The platform consists of five modules designed to complement each other with new features that deepen Nauto鈥檚 ability to analyze data.
Part of the system fuses data from sensors in real time and compares against insights derived from more than 400 million AI-analyzed video miles and billions of telemetry data points, according to Nauto.
Nauto鈥檚 new policy-violation feature can detect prohibited activities such as cellphone use and smoking.

Nauto said its technology already has helped its customer base of more than 400 fleets, including Allegiant Logistics and Daytona Beverages.
Based in Palo Alto, Calif., Nauto, said its technology has helped fleets avoid more than 25,000 collisions, resulting in nearly $100 million in savings. 鈥 Transport Topics
