McLeod Updates Software Package
McLeod Software, said Thursday it added several features to its LoadMaster transportation management package.
The transportation software company added a feature to LoadMaster to establish daily, weekly or monthly trips in advance for carriers with regular accounts, which it said is meant to improve order-entry for dedicated or high-volume contracts.
Another new feature makes it easier for carriers with dedicated accounts to plan round-trips, McLeod said.
It also added a “load mileage table” to the software, to help carriers resolve potential differences with shippers when the actual miles traveled vary from commonly used mileage databases.
