Larry M. Sur has decided to step down from his full time duties as president of Schneider Logistics to spend more time with his family.

Effective April 1, Sur will work in a part-time capacity as executive vice president of supply chain management for Schneider National Inc. of Green Bay, Wis.

"I intend to stay active in the industry and do consulting in the areas of logistics and technology," Sur said in a statement issued March 23. "This is just another phase of my career at Schneider."

Chris Lofgren, chief information officer at Schneider, will assume expanded responsibilities as head of Schneider’s logistics operations, the company said.
