inked its third acquisition of 2025 on May 16 as KAG Canada bought liquid bulk carrier Fisher Transport for an undisclosed sum.
Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia-based Fisher is the largest milk transporter in Atlantic Canada, hauling more than 200 million liters (52.4 million gallons) of raw milk annually, according to KAG.
The deal will see 60 drivers and 15 operational and administrative staff join KAG Canada, while the company’s rolling stock assets will increase by 60 tractors and 70 specialized trailers.
Fisher operates out of three locations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
KAG said the deal would solidify the company’s coast-to-coast Canadian footprint as well as create a new partnership with dairy farmers and producers as part of KAG’s food products services.

“When we were provided with the opportunity to partner with the Fisher team, we immediately knew it would be a great fit for KAG,” he added. “Together, our team will execute this strategic journey of offering coast-to-coast bulk transportation services to all of our customers.”
