            New trailer orders jumped 44% in June from a year ago as high demand for new equipment continued into the summer, ACT Research reported.
      	  			                
U.S. trailer manufacturers booked 21,997 net orders during June compared with 15,286 in the same month last year, ACT said.
      	  			                
On a sequential basis, however, net orders slipped 1.4% from May’s total of 22,310.
      	  			                
Through the first half of the year, trailer orders have climbed 45%, to 155,664 from 107,336 in the first six months of 2013.
