Truck repair software developer Fullbay announced April 7 that it has acquired digital marketing agency Dieselmatic Digital Inc., which focuses on repair shops.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but it closed April 1. Fullbay said the acquisition will allow it to layer the digital marketing services onto its shop management software. The company hopes to create a full suite of business services for heavy-duty repair shops.
鈥淒ieselmatic is a great fit with Fullbay and for our clients,鈥 Fullbay CEO Patrick McKittrick said. 鈥淭heir existing brand equity combined with their demand-generating digital marketing services grows our scope and capabilities. Dieselmatic will drive more business into shops, while Fullbay will help shops execute on that business as efficiently as possible.鈥
Dieselmatic provides various digital marketing services including website and strategic marketing assistance. Fullbay noted that working exclusively in the commercial vehicle repair industry has allowed its team to create unique content, coupled with proven digital techniques and strategies that consistently improve online rankings.
鈥淲e will continue to grow Dieselmatic for our existing customer base, as well as Fullbay鈥檚 customer base, and beyond,鈥 Nick Adams, managing director at Dieselmatic, said. 鈥淭his is the new way of marketing a heavy-duty repair shop 鈥 by knowing where you spent your money and capitalizing on those channels.鈥
Fullbay expects to retain all employees of both organizations, and anticipates continued growth through cross-branding, customer integration and implementation of best practices. Future integrations between the two brands will include an end-to-end analytics dashboard. 鈥 Transport Topics
