Existing home sales rose in March for the first time in four months, the National Association of Realtors said.

Sales jumped 6.8% to an annual rate of 5.35 million units, the group said in its monthly report.

The increase exceeded economists’ forecasts of a 5.29 million annual rate, Bloomberg reported.
