North American prices for diesel exhaust fluid changed little in November, with the U.S. price increasing and the Canadian price dipping, said the Dec. 5 issue of DEF Tracker.
While retail prices were unchanged, the report said U.S. tote refill prices increased one cent per gallon to $1.88 over October’s level. In contrast, the Canadian tote price dipped over the same time by one penny to C52 cents per liter.
DEF Tracker, a publication of British firm Integer Research Ltd., said the retail price for DEF at truck stops remains at $2.79 a gallon in the United States and C80 cents a liter in Canada.
Trucking companies that buy in partial loads from a tank truck paid, on average, $1.80 a gallon in the United States in November and C52 cents a liter in Canada, DEF Tracker said.
