Two Technologies

Two Technologies Inc., a supplier of rugged handheld computers, has added a new device featuring a printer to its product lineup.

The company’s N5Print device, designed for use by longhaul and delivery drivers and other transportation workers, enables on-the-spot printing as well as communications capabilities, data input, credit card transactions, photography and scanning.

“One of the biggest problems with most available devices is that they lack the ability to print on-site records and documents,” said Joan Rickards, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Two Technologies. “As the wave of the future, our new device solves this problem.”

The Android device features a rain-resistant, 5.7-inch touchscreen with an on-screen keyboard, a hot-swappable battery, 3-channel magnetic stripe reader, Smart Card Reader and a barcode scanner.

The unit’s camera, audio and video recording functions enable drivers to capture and store multiple types of data.
