echnology firms Terion Inc. and DriverTech Inc. said they have streamlined the transfer of data between a truck cab and the trailer by integrating systems.

The agreement means truckers will be able to use Terion’s FleetView3 tracking system in conjunction with DriverTech’s Truck PC Fleet Management System.

Previously, carriers had to review truck and trailer data separately, which could be a time-consuming process for dispatchers, said Todd Felker, Terion’s vice president of marketing and product development.
