Ryder to Acquire Conn. Leasing Firm
Ryder System said it will acquire Edart Leasing Co., based in Hartford, Conn.
The truck rental and leasing company said it will acquire Edart’s fleet of about 1,450 full service lease and 150 rental units.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close during January, were not disclosed.
Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
