opened a facility in Coppell, Texas, in recent days, the A.P. Moller-Maersk unit said.

The facility integrates both a pickup-and-delivery station and a linehaul hub, replacing Maersk’s existing Irving station and expanding the truckload and less-than-truckload carrier’s footprint in Texas.

The Coppell facility has more than 30 dock-high doors and two ramps, a spokeswoman said.

Located 5 miles from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the 100,000-square-foot plant is designed to process thousands of shipments weekly, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and Maersk’s broader national network.

Maersk operates seven stations of this type and multiple hubs across the state — including in Austin, Houston, El Paso, Laredo and McAllen — as demand and cross-border logistics requirements grow, the company said.

Alongside specialized and standard LTL plus truckload services, Maersk’s ground freight operations in the U.S. offer store delivery and white-glove services.

Maersk will release third-quarter 2025 earnings Nov. 6. The company is in a silent period as a result, so the spokeswoman declined to say whether more facilities would open in the coming year but did say Maersk hoped to invest in more space.
