FHWA Continues Freight ‘Webinars’ Via the Internet
Registration is Required; Participants Limited to 100
he Federal Highway Administration is continuing its “Talking Freight” Web seminar series through May. The monthly “Webinars” are designed to provide a no-cost way for transportation practitioners to broaden their knowledge about transporting freight.
The spring series continues Feb. 15, with a framework for freight analysis; Feb. 22, traffic incident management; and March 15, moving commodities from origin to destination.
Additional seminars for 2006 will be posted in coming months.
Participants see the presenters’ PowerPoint slides over the Internet while listening to their commentary over the telephone. The slides can be downloaded and printed.
No cost is involved, although registration is limited to 100 people. Registration, required for each session, is available online at .
