Feds to Eliminate Paper Lading in 2001

| Associate News EditorThe government’s paper bill of lading is slated for extinction Sept. 30, 2001, according to the General Services Administration.
On Oct. 6, GSA told transportation managers in the executive branch that they must use Web-based bills of lading from the private sector to help move federal civilian freight shipments.
