The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agency has implemented an online application for Free and Secure Trade, or FAST, cards through its Global Online Enrollment System, or GOES.
Drivers applying for U.S.-Mexico FAST cards must begin using the online application immediately, as CBP will no longer accept paper applications for the southern border, according to American Trucking Associations.
Enrollment centers will continue contacting drivers by phone to issue conditional approvals and schedule interviews.
