Logistics firm Expeditors International of Washington said its third-quarter net income rose 15% to $85.5 million, or 39 cents a share, from $74.3 million, or 34 cents, a year ago.

Revenue rose to $1.56 billion, from $1.41 billion, the company said Tuesday.

Seattle-based Expeditors International of Washington is ranked No. 18 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics companies.
