Con-way Names Dagnese to Head Freight Unit
Con-way Inc. said Joseph Dagnese has been named president of Con-way Freight, its largest unit, to replace Greg Lehmkuhl, who resigned.
Dagnese is moving to the less-than-truckload unit, which accounts for about two-thirds of revenue, immediately from his post as president of Con-way Truckload. The statement from Con-way said Lehmkuhl, who spent nearly four years as president of Con-way Freight, is leaving 鈥渢o pursue an opportunity as chief executive officer of a private equity-owned company,鈥 the carrier鈥檚 statement said.
Dagnese has worked more than 30 years in transportation, including two decades at Con-way. He was named Con-way Truckload鈥檚 president last year.
